Two new issues
by Christopher
We are both pleased and embarrassed to announce that the July and August issues of Deep Madder Monthly are finally completed and on the verge of being mailed out. You will likely not receive them until sometime next week, however, given that Friday is a statutory holiday. But at least you'll then have a suitable companion for your post-Christmas blues.
We are currently working on the September and October issues, which can hopefully be completed within a week or so. We'd ideally like to get completely caught up before the end of the year, and have the 2009 Anthologies available some time in January.
And finally, we'd be remiss if we did not mention that many of these updates are posted to our Twitter account before anywhere else.
Hooray! Reading!
ReplyDeleteFor a second I thought you meant that the reason Friday's being a statutory holiday would slow things down is that you guys have a legal right to not work on statutory holidays.
Nope, Deep Madder actually operates as an affront to most labour laws, given the obscene hours we put into it for zero compensation.
ReplyDeleteWould you say it's a labour of lack of love?
ReplyDeleteAlright! May i have the issues sent to my Belleville address if they haven't yet to be sent?
ReplyDeleteOkay. Why to Belleville? They won't be sent until Monday, I'm afraid, due to my busy days of late, and my colleague being conveniently unable to print and mail the issue.
ReplyDeleteWhoops, I think you meant to say "...and my colleague being unable to print them for reasons entirely beyond his control." Watch for those typos!
ReplyDeleteMay I remind my colleague that convenience is not necessarily a product of design? One may be inconvenienced by something that is (somewhat) outside of one's control.
